FAQ: What is done to my car or truck during a typical oil change?

During the typical oil change your car is drained of the old oil. The oil filter is removed and replaced. The engine is refilled with the proper amount and weight of oil. The front end is checked over for worn out parts, the tires are check for proper inflation and ware and the fluids are topped off.

FAQ: How often should I have my car or truck serviced?

Every Car manufacturer has its own service and maintenance schedule. In most cars it is recommended that the oil is changed every 3,000 miles, transmission flushed every 35,000 miles, Tires Rotated every 7,500 miles, brake fluid flush every 2 years. This is the basic routine maintenance that will keep your car running with minimal problems.

Coolant depending on the type you car uses has a different schedule if it is orange (dex-cool) this 50,000 mile coolant and should be flushed every 50,000 miles. Green coolant should be flushed every 25,000 miles. There are other types of coolant out there so if you’re not sure give us a call or check your owner’s manual
